Rozpínání do 4 stran je u hmoždinky SX Plus základní vlastností, díky které dosahuje velmi vysokých výkonů v plných stavebních materiálech: od betonu, přes plné cihly, až po plynosilikát. Hmoždinka je v oblasti krčku vybavena novými pojistnými křidélky, které se při zasunutí do vyvrtaného otvoru přimknou ke středu a dokáží podržet vrut před jeho zašroubováním. Užitečná pomoc zejména při montáži do stropu. Límeček hmoždinky brání jejímu zapadnutí hlouběji do vyvrtaného otvoru. Přitom ale umožňuje provést průvlečnou montáž. Kvalitní materiál (PA-6 nylon) zaručuje bezpečné a spolehlivé upevnění po dlouhou dobu. Sortiment doplňují prodloužené varianty v průměrech 6, 8 a 10 mm, které nabízejí vyšší nosnost v měkkých a svisle děrovaných materiálech. Zejména jsou vhodné k přemostění silnějších nenosných povrchových vrstev (omítka, obklad).
